Mussoorie
Referred to as Queen of Hill Stations, Mussoorie is an incredible holiday destination located in Uttranchal in North India.
It is situated at an altitude of 2,500 meters on the Himalayan foothills and gets its name from a shrub, Mansur, which is abundantly found in this place.
There is a Mall in the heart of this hill station having a series of shops. The Gun Hill is the place where a gun was fired at mid-day to denote the time.

By Rail: The overnight Mussoorie Express links Delhi to Dehradun, the railhead for Mussoorie.
By Road: There are direct buses from Delhi to Mussoorie, along with private taxis. Buses ply every half hour from Dehradun to Mussoorie. Private taxis and shared taxis are favored by a majority of visitors.
