He had a magnificent run of three consecutive birdies on the 13th, 14th, 15th. This was followed by two more birdies on the third and sixth. His lone bogey came on the fifth hole. The 21-year-old now has an aggregate of two over as he had fired 77 in the first round.

Anirban Lahiri, who carded 74 in round one, is also tied 53rd. He was one under in the second round after having played just three holes.

Chandigarh's Ranjit Singh occupies tied 67th place. Ranjit could complete only three holes Thursday and was two over for the day. He had returned 72 in round one.

Gaganjeet Bhullar's three holes in the second round yielded a score of three over. He is now tied 91st having shot 73 Wednesday.

Gurbaaz Mann (76,75) slipped to tied 124th with a total of nine over 151.
