Seats hiked in Himachal agricultural university
Shimla, Aug 7 : The Himachal Pradesh government has increased the number of seats in various undergraduate and postgraduate courses and Ph.D programmes in the constituent colleges of Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya at Palampur in Kangra district.
An official spokesman said Thursday that the number of seats would go up to 215 from 131 from this academic session.
The university has four constituent colleges: the College of Agriculture, the Dr G.C. Negi College of Veterinary and Animal Science, the College of Home Science and the College of Basic Sciences.
