Did Aamir Khan sent Jiah to acting classes?
There is a strong buzz that Aamir Khan sent his Ghajini co-star Jiah to acting classes before her shooting for the film began. Giving confirmation to this is none other than actress Kangana Ranaut.
Kangana and Jiah have been at a war of words for sometime now and this time Kangana has openly commented on Jiah's non-acting skills.
Ghajini has two heroines opposite Aamir in the film. One is Asin who has played the same part in the original Tamil version whereas the second lead now is Nishabd starlet Jiah Khan. It is common knowledge that Kangana was the first choice for Aamir opposite him in Ghajini. But she leaked out the news to the press before the formal announcement which annoyed Aamir and out she was of the film. At the last minute Jiah was roped in. Kangana was dejected and very hurt more so because not only she was a senior to Jiah but also considered herself a better actress than her having got critical acclaim for her debut film, Gangster and also Life In A Metro and Woh Lamhe. But as in the case of sour grapes, Kangana has been leaving no opportunity behind to lash out at Jiah. Jiah too is being equally venomous about Kangana in her interviews. Just recently they both even fought over their dress designer! Now when our source asked Kangana how she felt about missing out on working with Aamir in Ghajini, she replied back saying sometimes its destiny but at least I wasn't sent to acting classes by Aamir when he had selected me like he sent Jiah. He was confident about my acting skills!
Jiah plays a medical student in Ghajini and has a smaller role compared to that of Asin's.
