India-New Zealand second ODI reduced to 34 overs a side
Wellington, March 6 : The second one-day international between India and New Zealand was reduced to 34 overs per side due to rain at the Westpac Stadium here Friday.
India were cruising along well at 130 for one in the 19th over when the first spell of rain disrupted the match and after resumption five overs were only bowled before another shower stopped the game again.
Play restarted at 6.40 p.m. (local time) after umpires decided that it would be a 34 overs affair.
