The next bahu Sneha Wagh
Small screen's super bahus Parvati and Tulsi have left behind heirs to their crowns.
There is a whole new lot of bahus- Sara Khan, Parul Chauhan, Smita Bansal, Avika Gor, Neha Marda, Prabhleen Sandhu, Natasha Sharma and Priyanka Mishra. The latest entrant to this list is Sneha Wagh aka Jyoti of Sphere origin’s Jyoti (NDTV Imagine).
Jyoti who plays a very mature and responsible bahu says “The character has a lot of shades. She has been a responsible daughter and sister, and now, a sensible wife and bahu too. The fact, she plays wife of a blind person adds a lot of challenge to the character”.
Today in every show we have so many actresses portraying the role of a daughter-in-law. So who is your favorite bahu? “
According to me, of the lot Tulsi has been the best bahu on screen. I have always admired her in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. She was a strong character and always fought for truth”.
With so many bahus already in line, we will wait and see where Jyoti stands in the list!
