Zayed Khan excited about hosting IIFA Fashion Extravaganza
After walking the ramp at Inter International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) last year this year Zayed Khan is all set to be the show host for the IIFA 2009 Fashion Extravaganza along with Sophie Choudhary at the Venetian Macao.
Zayed tells us that he is not just excited but a little nervous as well. Why you may ask then well that’s because he hasn’t done anything like this before.
Zayed tells us that he finds ramp very difficult. “But then it is also a new dimension to acting and I did learn a few things while rehearsing. You have to be innovative and create a bond between yourself and the audience. We are performing at Macao for the first time so we are also forming a bond between two countries. You have to have good humour but at the same time you should not go overboard. I can’t make the act cheap like others do. I am not a standoff comedian too at that. But the way I approach Hrithik and Salman Bhai and take a dig at them will be something to be watched out far.” Zayed adds further.
Zayed is all geared up for the performance and will be wearing a Manav Gangwani creation. “It will be a black tie event and we will all be wearing white and black combination. But this year I am going to wear a suit that will give the new guys a run for their money. It is the ladies who will be colourful and beautiful. I prefer black and white because I find it an unpretentious colour” says Zayed.
