Baichung leaves India camp
Panaji, Nov 21 (Indianfootball.com-IBNS): India captain Baichung Bhutia has left the India camp currently ongoing in Goa due to a calf muscle injury.
The Indian national team captain underwent an MRI scan which revealed a calf muscle stretch.
Baichung consulted an expert in Mumbai yesterday before returning to Kolkata for rehabilitation.
Baichung has been given a weeks rest to recover from his injury by the Team India management and if fit thereafter could rejoin the national team camp.
Meanwhile also missing from the India camp are Dempo defenders Mahesh Gawli and Samir Naik. Both players are currently out injured and therefore their club has asked them to do to rehabilitation with the club, while the India set-up wanted to have a look at the duo and then decide if to release them or not.
