Heavy rains likely in Kerala, Lashadweep
Pune, Nov 7 : Heavy to very heavy rains are likely to occur at many places in south coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Lakshadweep.
Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places in north coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, coastal and south interior Karnataka and at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. They are also likely at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, Himachal Pradesh, south Chhattisgarh, Telangana and north interior Karnataka.
Dry weather will prevail in sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, north Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada.
The northeast Monsoon has been vigorous in coastal Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. It has been subdued over Telanagana and coastal Karnataka.
Night temperatures were below normal in some parts of Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. They were appreciably to markedly above normal in Orissa, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Telanagana and in some parts of Jharkhand, east Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat region, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada and Vidarbha. They were above normal in Gangetic West Bengal, Haryana, west Madhya Pradesh, Konkan, Goa, coastal Andhra Pradesh, coastal and south interior Karnataka and in remaining parts of Jharkhand, east Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada and Vidarbha. They were normal over the rest of the country.
