Violent clashes ensue in Patna following businessman's death
Patna, Nov. 7 : Violent clashes ensue between two communities in Patna on Monday following the alleged killing of a Muslim businessman.
Mohammad Shamsher was allegedly killed on Friday night in the Khajekala area of Patna.
When people of Muslim community came to know about the cold-blooded murder, they turned violent and came on the streets to attack Hindus.
“A group 10-20 Muslims came and started beating a Hindu guy. When the neighbours went to save him, they started throwing crude bombs at us," said Sadanand, a local.
Clashes ensued following the attacks and situations worsened.
Police personnel had to air-fire in a bid to control the situation and disperse the clashing mob.
As per latest reports, two persons were injured in the clashes and the situation has been brought under control.
