Aamir, the ventriloquist

Aamir Khan will be playing a ventriloquist in an upcoming advertisement.

However, well-known ventriloquist Ramdas Padhye will actually be operating the puppet.

Padhye was shocked to see Aamir’s reaction on meeting him. Aamir said, “It’s lovely meeting you again” even though it was the first time they were meeting. He later found out that Aamir used to watch his show on Doordarshan, Meri Bhi Suno, regularly. Aamir couldn’t remember the puppet’s name but was very excited when Padhye brought it along with him one day and kept staring at it excitedly.

It was tough for Aamir to suddenly start talking in a false voice. So, Aamir was asked to try and observe Padhye and pick up his body language to be able to perform with the puppet better.
