Sakshi granted regular bail
Etah, Nov 7 : Former MP Sakshi Maharaj was granted regular bail today by a local court in connection with a financial Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS) for his College here.
The former MP was granted bail along with three others, including his brother, by District Judge Ramesh Chandra.
An FIR was registered against Sakshi and others for submitting fake documents of his Ma Madalsa Inter College to receive funds from the MPLADs under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 and 409 IPC on September 4 last.
Sakshi had surrendered before the Court on October 14 and was given anticipatory bail after furnishing a personal bond.
The other three given a regular bail were Principal of the College Uday Pratap Singh, Manager Padam Singh Rajput and President of the college Brahmand Maharaj, who is also the younger brother of Sakshi.
