Precious metals fall
Mumbai, Nov 6 : Precious metals declined in the opening session today as silver eased by Rupees 15 per kg and gold by Rupees 20 per ten gm, on sluggish demand from industrial users, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association (BBA) said.
The global markets like London and Asian too fell today as gold was quoted low at 1,091.00/1,091.05 per troy ounce and silver at 17.50/17.51 per troy ounce from their previous levels, traders added.
Following were the closing rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg).999 grade : Rs 27,690 Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity Standard mint : Rs 16,590 Gold 99.9 purity Pure gold : Rs 16,665.
