JD(U) blames Lalu Prasad for playing 'politics' with forwards
Patna, Nov 5 : Describing the announcement of RJD chief and former Railway Minister Lalu Prasad for taking the forwards into confidence as a 'politcal gimmick', the JD(U) today alleged that Mr Prasad was playing dirty politics with the forwards.
Senior JD(U) leader and former Bihar Minister Shyam Rajak said here that Mr Prasad's suggestion to his party workers for launching a contact programme among the forward sections was nothing but a political game plan.
He said every forward was fully aware with the attitude of Mr Prasad and the memories of the 'black' days during 15-year Lalu-Rabri regime could not fade out.
He alleged that the Lalu-Rabri regime witnessed several massacres and the forwards lived in a 'fear-psychosis' during the rule.
Mr Prasad followed the 'divide and rule' policy and created a big gap between the forwards and the backwards.
He lauded the developmental efforts of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, saying the caste and religion-based politics had become a matter of past.
