Mohun Bagan lodge complaint with FIFA against Bhaichung Bhutia
Kolkata, Nov 5 : Mohun Bagan have lodged a 255-page complaint with Fifa against India captain Bhaichung Bhutia seeking world's soccer body's intervention in a dispute.
Mohun Bagan secretary Anjan Mitra also submitted copies to India's top soccer body AIFF and local football regulating body Indian Football Association.
Mohun Bagan's complaint came after the All India Football Federation's appointed arbitrator allowed Bhutia to play for East Bengal, an arch rival of Mohun Bagan, which had suspened their former striker for six months in June last for alleged violation of club rules and norms.
Mohun Bagan's contention was since Bhutia was a contracted player until 2010 season Aiff's temporary decree allowing the player to sign for any club was violative.
