Addressing a press conference here, Mr Solanki said ''The Union Government has decided to continue its Accelerated Power Development & Reforms Programme (APDRP) in 12th five-year plan as Power is a critical infrastructure for economic growth of India. The economic acceleration would greatly depend upon a commercially viable power sector that is able to attract fresh investments.'' Mr Solanki said, ''As part of APDRP initiative, Gujarat is going to attract several mega power projects in 12th five-year plan amounting to the investment over Rs 40,000 crore.
