We can't forget Soren's defeat in Tamar: Hemant
Ranchi, Nov 3 : Jharkhand Mukti Morcha(JMM) leader and Rajya Sabha MP Hemant Soren today said the party would definitely field a 'suitable candidate' from Tamar Assembly seat where his father lost his electoral battle in the by-elections held early this year.
''We cannot forget those moments when Congress and other UPA allies forced my father to file nomination papers from Tamar,'' Mr Hemant said while talking to UNI here.
''President's rule imposed in the state after the defeat of Shibu Soren was an outcome of a conspiracy hatched by several allies,'' the junior Soren said.
''Our family still remember the embarrassing defeat of senior Soren who gave his entire life for the development and cause of this state,'' he added.
He said the party has decided to field a suitable candidate from there.
In the by-elections to Tamar Assembly seat held early this year, JMM president Shibu Soren, who was a UPA candidate, was defeated by Raja Peter, a Jharkhand Party candidate.
JMM president tendered his resignation to the then Governor Syed Sibtey Razi after President's rule was imposed in the state.
