Idea introduces 'one-paisa per second' tariff in Andhra Pradesh
Hyderabad, Nov 2 : Idea Cellular, a pan-India mobile operator, today introduced an affordable tariff plan, allowing its subscribers in Andhra Pradesh to pay per second for calls.
Idea subscribers in the State could make all local and STD calls on any network in the country at the tariff of 'one paisa per second.' Existing Idea subscribers could purchase special voucher of Rs 68 to avail the per second tariff plan while new subscribers could get it for Rs 70. This tariff would be valid for one year, a press release here said.
Idea Cellular Chief Operating Officer (Andhra Pradesh) Subbaraman Iyer said 'after launching the Super 50 plans which give 50 paise tariff in October, Idea has now launched the one paisa per second tariff plan. With these plans, Idea subscribers not only have the benefit of one of the best and widest network coverage in Andhra Pradesh but also a wide range of attractive tariff options to choose from to suit their specific requirements.'
