Pvt airline pilot found dead
Chennai, Nov 2 : Mystery shrouds the death of a private airline pilot whose highly decomposed body was found in his apartment in Thiruvanmiyur in the city late last night.
Police here said Krishna Narayanan (28), working as a pilot with Kingfisher Airlines for the last one year, was staying alone in the apartment as his parents were in Malaysia. He was a bachelor.
He was last seen on October 22 when he told the apartment watchman he would not be in town for the next few days. He had also pasted a note on the main door that he would be out of town till October 30.
Neighbours called the police yesterday evening after foul smell emanated from the second floor apartment where he lived.
Police broke open the door and found the highly decomposed body of the pilot on the bed.
They also recovered some wrappers of sleeping pills from the spot leading them police to suspect it to be a case of suicide following a failed love affair.
The body was taken to the Government Royapettah Hospital for post mortem.
