Southern Railway to run Special trains
Chennai, Oct 29 : Southern Railway (SR) will run the following Special trains to clear the extra rush of passengers.
According to a release here today, the Chennai Egmore-Nagercoil Special (0637) would leave Chennai Egmore at 2020 hrs on Thursdays from November 5 to December 10, 2009, and arrive at Nagercoil at 1105 hrs, the next day.
The Nagercoil-Chennai Egmore Special (0638) would leave Nagercoil at 1330 hrs on Fridays from November 6 to December 11, 2009, and arrive in Chennai Egmore at 0425 hrs, the next day.
The Chennai Egmore-Nagercoil Special (0639) would leave Chennai Egmore at 1845 hrs on Mondays from November 2 to December 7, 2009, and arrive at Nagercoil at 0805 hrs, the next day.
The Nagercoil-Chennai Egmore Special (0640) would leave Nagercoil at 1330 hrs on Tuesdays from November 3 to December 8, 2009, and arrive in Chennai Egmore at 0425 hrs, the next day.
The Chennai Egmore-Sengottai Special (0609) would leave Chennai Egmore at 2020 hrs on Saturdays from November 7 to December 12, 2009, and arrive at Sengottai at 1025 hrs, the next day.
The Sengottai-Chennai Egmore Special (0610) would leave Sengottai at 1425 hrs on Sundays from November 8 to December 13, 2009, and arrive in Chennai Egmore at 0425 hrs, the next day.
The Nagercoil-Chennai Egmore Special (0652) would leave Nagercoil at 1940 hrs on Mondays from November 2 to December 7, 2009, and arrive in Chennai Egmore at 0855 hrs, the next day.
The Chennai Egmore-Nagercoil Special (0651) would leave Chennai Egmore at 1440 hrs on Tuesdays from November 3 to December 8, 2009, and arrive at Nagercoil at 0530 hrs, the next day.
The Chennai Central-Nagercoil Garib Rath Special (0607) would leave Chennai Central at 1930 hrs on Wednesdays from November 4 to December 9, 2009, and arrive at Nagercoil at 1105 hrs, the next day.
The Nagercoil-Chennai Central Garib Rath Special (0608) would leave Nagercoil at 1330 hrs on Thursdays from November 5 to December 10, 2009, and arrive in Chennai Central at 0450 hrs, the next day.
Advance reservations for the above trains would commence from October 30, the release added.
