After Rakhi, it's Rahul Mahajan's Swayambar

Mumbai/Kolkata, Oct 16 : It was a show that had the entire nation intensely and personally involved in the search for the ideal groom for controversy's child, Rakhi Sawant.

This winter, NDTV Imagine presents Season 2 of this hugely popular Swayamvar. Taking centre stage as the groom-in-waiting is the multi-faceted personality, Rahul Mahajan. Accustomed to living his life in full glare of the public, Rahul has decided to take the plunge and search for his bride on television through Imagine's Swayamvar – Season 2!

The search for Rahul's ideal life partner begins with a nationwide audition process that starts with a call for entries followed by multi-city meetings and interviews with the shortlisted participants. Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jaayega (RDLJ) will give audiences the opportunity to discover the real man behind the very public persona.

Sameer Nair CEO, NDTV Imagine said, 'Its back by popular demand! We're really pleased with the spectacular response to Season 1 of the Swayamvar with Rakhi. What began as idle voyeurism quickly changed into genuine interest and a strong desire for Rakhi to find the right man with whom she could share her life. Swayamvar Season 2 while following a similar format as its predecessor will have a complete unique spin. 16 men were wooing Rakhi, now will 16 ladies woo Rahul or will Rahul woo 16 ladies?

The prospective brides will be brought together under one roof and will be put through series of tasks and challenges to uncover the various facets of their personality and beliefs and ascertain their compatibility with Rahul, assisting him in arriving at his final decision. Along the way, his friends and family will join him, helping him in his quest for his ideal life partner.
