The Amateur Golden and Environment Society (SAGES) had organised a three-day flower show in the beautiful locales of Shimla, which is attracting tourists from across the country who are visiting the hill-town to beat the summer heat.
The flower show also imparts knowledge about conservation of environment and encourages people to plant more trees. Carnations, roses, lilies, orchids, tulips, daisies and dazzling floral garlands took the breath away of the tourists in the hilly town of Shimla in India's northern Himachal Pradesh state.
The flower carnival showcased around 200 varieties of flowers including magnolia, marigold, primrose, dog flower, pansy and much more. The visitors were thrilled to see the show and said that it was a novel experience for them.
