Designers Sonam and Paras Modi in collaboration with the Gitanjali Jewels 'Nizam collection' showcased there exquisite regionalwedding collection in four parts. The show started with traditional Bihu Dance from Assam there by introducing a special wedding collection inspired from the Assamese culture with traditional motifs in red, off-white and golden colour theme.
The show progressed with Rajasthan's traditional 'Ghoomar' dance form representing the Royal Rajasthani collection with intricate gotta-patti designs on ghaghra choli's.
The third part of the show saw Kuchipudi dance performance there by introducing a white and gold collection for the Andhra bride. Last but not the least was a special Punjabi tadka with models doing bhangra on ramp in traditional Punjabi bridal attires. Bollywood beauty Neha Dhupia sashayed down the runway as a showstopper in a beautiful red-white and green lehanga embellished with heavy zardosi work.
With traditional Indian Weddings being the center of the theme this show was truly very Desi.
