Simon Cowell regrets failing to get Spice Girls to join his record label

London, December 11 : Simon Cowell has revealed that he regrets failing to sign the Spice Girls to his record label.

During an interview with Jay Leno on 'The Tonight Show' the 54-year-old music mogul admitted that he was "hurt" when the British pop girl group formed in 1994 refused to join him, and joined a rival record label instead, the Mirror reported.

The 'Syco' boss said that he knew that they were going to go big but got "too late" on the deal and confessed that he regards it as his "biggest mistake".
