Vodafone felicitates Daily Dhamaka winners

Kolkata, Dec 8 : Vodafone India on Saturday felicitated the winners of VAS (Value Added Service) 'Daily Dhamaka Competition', which was launched in August this year as part of its customer-connect initiative.

The telecommunication service provider with second largest customer base in India is all set to create and provide fun and differentiated experience to its customers to keep its edge over the competitors.

Ananad Sahai, Business Head-Kolkata and Bengal, Vodafone India said,"Daily Dhamaka Competition was an initiative that offered value proposition as well as an opportunity to win exciting gifts to our customers, while providing Vodafone with a platform to engage more closely with them."

While Sudhakar Pandey took home Cheverolet Spark car- the bumper prize, 21 more winners won various prizes like LCD TV, home theater, microwave oven, digital camera and mobile phone.

"Such customer-connect programmes are organised through out the year to ensure that our subscribers have a long, happy and rewarding journey with Vodafone," added Sahai.

As the Indian telecom industry is predicted to add only 300 million subscribers in the coming ten years instead of 600 million of the previous five years, it is likely to be tough for the telecom players to come by new subscribers.

The initiative can be seen as a strategy to ensure customer loyalty by the brand in an already narrowing Indian telecom industry with more than twelve mobile network service providers operating.
