Actor Vinay Apte passes away at 62

Mumbai, Dec 8 : Popular Marathi actor Vinay Apte passed away at Kokilaben Ambani hospital in Andheri on Saturday evening. He was 62.


He was reportedly suffering from breathing problems.

Besides Marathi films, the character artist was seen in several Bollywood films like Chandni Bar, Ek Chalis Ki Last Local, Rajneeti and Satyagraha among others.

He has also acted in several television serials like Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, Adalat and in the Marathi soap Durva.

The actor is survived by his wife and son Vihaan.
