Grihapravesh debuts in Kolkata

Kolkata, December 7 :, the largest online property portal ton Saturday inaugurated its first show- "Grihapravesh" here.

The show has 150 projects on display by 50 developers.

This is the 24th Edition of the property show in the country and Grihapravesh is expected to clock bookings of close to Rs. 20 crores with an expected footfall of 10,000.

Realtech Nirman Pvt. Ltd., The Banyan tree Group, Mayfair Group, Jaminzaidad, Loharuka Group, Sashwaat Realty, Aliens Group and Lord Group have showcased their upcoming projects in and around the city, ranging from all the segments of the realty sector.

Speaking about the property show Ganesh Vasudevan, CEO,, "Kolkata, being an end user market has seen constant property price appreciation, especially localities within city limit. With government opening new areas for development like Baishnabghata Township and New Town Rajarhat, in 2008 - 2010, the city also witnessed an increased participation from the investors. Buyers are still interested and are enquiring about properties but are apprehensive and are taking their time. Grihapravesh is a perfect platform presented by that will bring together prospective home buyers and property developers from across the city".
