New X-Men film 'Apocalypse' to release in 2016

London, Dec 7 : New X-Men film 'Apocalypse', which will be the eighth film in the superhero series, is set to be released on 27 May 2016.

Bryan Singer, who directed the first two films in the franchise, hinted about the project on Twitter, which was then confirmed by Fox, the BBC reported.

This movie will focus on Apocalypse, an ancient Egyptian villain who appeared in the Marvel comics in 1986.

As of now, there are no indications on the plot of the film.
