Chhattisgarh: Maoists kill journalist

Bijapur, Dec 7 : Armed Maoists allegedly killed a journalist at a weekly market in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh, said reports on Saturday.


Mediaperson Sai Reddy, 51, was attacked by a group of Maoists at Basaguda village weekly market on Friday.

A critically injured Reddy died on his way to hospital.

Reddy used to report on tribal families being caught in crossfire between police and Maoists.
