ODI: SA post 358/4

Johannesburg, Nov 5 : South Africa post mammoth 358 for four on the scorecard in the first One Day International (ODI) match against India at New Wanderers Stadium here on Thursday.


Opener Quinton de Kock hit the second century of his career as he scored 135 off 121 balls. He smashed 18 boundaries and three sixes in his knock.

Hashim Amla (65), AB de Villiers (77) and Jean-Paul Duminy (59*) all contributed with their willows.

Pacer Mohammed Shami picked up three wickets by giving away 68 runs in his 10 overs while Virat Kohli took one wicket.

The rest of the Indian bowlers struggled in this match.

Earlier, Indian skipper MS Dhoni won the toss and elected to bowl first.
