TiE Kolkata to host TiECon 2014

Kolkata, Dec 4 : Non-profit global network of entrepreneurs and professionals, The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) on Tuesday announced the 'TiECon', a conference based 'Idea to Corporation' to be held on Jan 31, 2014 here.


TiECon will serve an ideal forum for entrepreneurs and will serve the purpose of enterprising youths who are looking for a platform to network and interact with industry veterans, officials informed.

Bikram Dasgupta, President of TiE Kolkata said, "TiE Kolkata specifically focuses on creating, nurturing and promoting the next generation of entrepreneurs in West Bengal. Its a platform for budding entrepreneurs".

"Networking is the key for entrepreneurs," he added.

Dasgupta speaking about Kolkata TiECon 2014 said, "TiECon is all about a platform for entrepreneurs to innovation and long term benefit from strong association with their global counterparts."

"Tycoon will be comprised of a B2B Lounge - a parallel program where any budding entrepreneur would have a one on one session with iconic businessman with prior booking of slot," he noted.

"Hot Pitch - the aspiring as well as start up entrepreneurs will get an opportunity to pitch for their products and the most promising one would be rewarded by spot funding from angel investors, venture capitalists," Dasgupta informed.
