Crude oil price of Indian Basket declines

New Delhi, Dec 3 : The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published on Tuesday by Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas went down to US$ 108.55/per barrel (bbl) on Dec 2.

This was lower than the price of US$ 109.35/bbl which prevailed on the previous trading day of Nov 29.

In rupee terms also, the crude oil price declined to Rs 6755.07 per bbl on Dec 2 as compared to Rs 6842.94 /bbl on Nov 29.

This was due to decrease in price in dollar terms and rupee depreciation.

Rupee-dollar exchange rate on Dec 2 was Rs 62.23/US$ against Rs 62.39/bbl on previous trading day of Nov 29.
