Nikon India on Saturday organized a multi-city photo walk event in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Kolkata creating a platform for photographers to communicate and exchange their photographic vision.

The photo walk in Kolkata started from the Alipore Zoo and was led by Nikon India technical support executives, Soumojit Moitra and Anindo Basu along with 25 participants.

The photo walks across cities witnessed participation around 25 participants in each location.

The multi city walks created a platform for the photographers to communicate and exchange their vision with the technical heads and excavate, cultivate and nourish their tastes.

Nikon further conceptualized a learning session on fine tuning exposure control, framing and creative use of white balance.

The amateurs and enthusiasts in the field were provided with expert guidance through a basic D - SLR and advanced outdoor workshops across the cities.

The photo walks were organized at the Garden of Five Senses in Delhi, Sanjay Gandhi National Park, Borivali E in Mumbai and at Nandi Hills in Bangalore.

Soumojit Moitro said, "Camera is a tool and any amateur in the field must be technically advised and guided with proper handling and knowledge."

"We have been conducting the workshops since a long time and always got an overwhelming response from the participants," Moitro said.

He added, "We have a page on Facebook from where we operate the rest in the management of a workshop, registering oneself as the member and learning in the sessions is all a participant has to do."

"This workshop opens new boulevards of life to the one new in photography," he noted.
