Andhra cops publicly cane murder accused

Hyderabad, Dec 2 : The Anantapur Police were caught on camera publicly caning four people, accused in a murder case, at a market place of Guntakal town in Andhra Pradesh.

According to reports, a police team, led by Anantapur Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) E Supraja, on Sunday dragged the accused in front of the public and caned them to punish them and scare other criminals.

"The accused beaten up on Sunday included Sekhar, who allegedly killed his father-in-law Mallaiah over a domestic tiff. His brother and two friends were also beaten up," reported Times Of India.
