New York: Train derails; 4 killed

New York, Dec 2 : At least four people were killed and over 63 others were injured when a passenger train derailed in New York City on Sunday, said reports.

The 5:54 Metro-North train from Poughkeepsie derailed on Sunday morning in Bronx, the northernmost of the five boroughs of New York City.

There were about 100-150 passengers onboard, said The New York Times.

"Police and transit officials said four people on board were killed and more than 60 were injured, 11 critically," reported the newspaper.
