Kerala: Techie gangraped, 2 detained

Thiruvananthapuram, Dec 2 : The Thiruvananthapuram Police on Monday said they have detained two people after a 40-year old IT professional from Bangalore complained she was allegedly gangraped at a resort in the Kerala capital.


According to reports, the woman visited Kerala with her collegaues as a part of her official trip.

The woman said in her complaint filed on Saturday evening that two unidentified men forced their way into her room at around 2.30 am on Friday and raped her.

The Thiruvananthapuram Police said they have registered a case and started investigations while the techie has left for Bangalore.
