Gene Kelly's 'Singin' In The Rain' suit to fetch 100k pounds at auction

London, Nov 29 : Gene Kelly's suit which he wore in the musical comedy movie 'Singin' In The Rain' is set to fetch 100,000 pounds at an auction in Dallas, Texas.

Even 60 years after the famous dance routine was shot, the two-piece woolen is still water stained, the Daily Star reported.

The owner had paid only 6 pounds for it during a mass sell-off of movie costumes in 1970.

Margaret Barrett of Heritage Auctions said that she would like to see the suit go for a six-figure sum.
