Mumbai's Prithvi Shaw smashes record 546 in Harris Shield

Mumbai, Nov.20 : Fourteen-year-old Mumbai cricketer Prithvi Shaw has created a new world record by scoring a 546 in the city's inter school Harris Shield Tournament.

Shaw, who captains the Mumbai's under-16 squad and the Bandra area Rizvi Springfield School, scored the runs against St. Francis D'Assisi on Wednesday.

Prithvi's 546 runs came off 330 deliveries and was studded with 85 fours and five sixes.

He broke Armaan Jaffer's record of 498 runs.

On Tuesday, Prithvi was unbeaten on 257.
