CSA congratulates Proteas Test squad for being named 'Team of the Year'

Johannesburg, Nov 19 : Cricket South Africa (CSA) has congratulated the South African Test squad on being named Team of the Year at a sports awards function at Sun City.


Vice-captain AB de Villiers accepted the award on behalf of the Proteas.

According to Sport24, CSA Chief Executive Haroon Lorgat commended the team, saying that it is a well-deserved honour, adding that to have clinched the world No 1 Test ranking by winning away Test series against England and Australia is some feat.

South Africa will play home Tests against India and Australia this season, the report added.
