Tanishq unveils exclusive wedding collection

Kolkata, Nov 16 : Jewellery brand Tanishq launched a new collection of wedding jewellery keeping in mind the modern discerning Indian brides here on Friday.

Regional Business Manager (RBM) East Tanishq, Dwaipayan Sen launching the collection said, "With this wedding collection, we are focusing on the new age bride who looks at both the ornamental as well as emotional value of it".

A bridal fashion show based on the theme 'The collection speaks the story of every bride's desire crafted in gold!' was organized to showcase the collection.

Tanishq noted that the jewellery has been designed and crafted in 22 karat gold.

The handcrafted wedding collection is a combination of both modernity and tradition.

Sen said, "This collection is gorgeous example of craftsmanship."

The wedding collection earring range starts from Rs. 60,000 onwards. And the neckpiece range starts from Rs. 2 lakh onwards.

Sen added, "Our main aim is to reach to the particular bride who want to wear something special on wedding day."

He asserted that Tanishq's wedding jewellery collection has been inspired by an auspicious element of Indian wedding 'mehendi'.

"It's geometrical figure acted as an inspiration," he added.

Tanishq informed that the wedding collection has 145 (one hundred forty five) designs.

"Its speciality lies in its cutting, pattern, long lastingness, quality, design, techniques, craftsmanship. Every design has three dimension - intrinsic, sensual, and expressive," Sen said.

Speaking of collection Sen said, "In this wedding collection technique like Meenakari, Polki and Kundan work was used to add perfect old time reality and modern practicality. This latest collection redefines beauty, fashion and style."

He said "This wedding collection has fulfilled all requirements like - necklaces, bangles, earrings and cuffs."
