Kolkata restaurant celebrates Children's Day

Kolkata, Nov 14 : To celebrate Children's Day Kolkata based Chinese food restaurant Chowman is hosting a 10-day long 'Children's Food Festival' at its Ballygunge Place and Golf Green outlets here.


Actress Locket Chatterjee and fashion designer Agnimitra Paul with their respective sons were present on the occasion.

Managing Director of Chowman Chain of Restaurants, Debaditya Chaudhury, who is also the founder and member of renowned Bangla rock band - Lakkhichhara was also present at the event.

"On the occasion of children's day we decided to do something special for our little customers. We have seen that, children love Chowman's food, hence we decided to have a food festival especially for them. The menu is well thought out keeping in mind the palate of the young. The dishes selected are both tasty as well as nutritious" said Chaudhury.



The festival will offer a lavish spread of various delicacies for the children which include Pineapple Fried Rice, Litchi Fried Rice, Butter Corn Fried Rice, Butter Garlic Hakka Noodles, Sweet Garlic Hakka Noodles, Pineapple Hakka Noodles, Sweet Pineapple Chicken, Pineapple Fish, Honey Mountain Prawn, Sliced Chicken with sweet orange sauce, Chilli Honey Fish, Prawn in sweet orange sauce and Roasted Orange Lamb.

The desert items include Choco Nutty Feast and Fruity Magic.

During the 10-day festival any children who visit the Chowman outlet would be given special gifts.
