Kolkata, Nov.11 : Firing by a group of intruders who entered a play school in the wee hours of Monday in Kolkata and killed two and seriously injured one.

"A group of intruders entered the school building and started the firing. In the firing two people were killed on the spot and one person was seriously injured, who has been referred to a hospital. I also saw the CCTV footage of the firing and further investigations of the incident are going on," said Joint Commissioner of Police, Pallab Kanti Ghosh.

Meanwhile, a relative of the dead security guard, Bapi Dev, said: "What has been told to us is that criminals were killed in this firing but my brother's son is not a criminal. He works for a security guard company. I know he is dead, now he cannot be brought back, but the family has earned a bad name with people saying that we are a criminal family. Further investigations should be made to come out with the reality behind this firing."

Further investigation is going on and more details related to the incident are still awaited.
