The famous battle of East Bengal versus Mohun Bagan has now shifted from the football field to the food courts.
Chef cum director of 6 Ballygunge Place Sushanta Sengupta presented delicious menu from both sides like Loitya Macher Matha Diye Moong Dal, Lau Bhapa Elish, Bheyki Macher Fry, Golda Chingrir Malai Curry, Kosha Mangsho, Borishali Murgi Loitya Shutki etc.
Among the desserts, there were Doodh Puli, Chocolate Doi, Posto Kodom etc.
Sengupta said, "We all know that we have two parts of Bengal, one is East Bengal and the other one is West Bengal. Both of the parts have their own distinct trend of food."
He said, "In 6 Ballygunge Place we have tried to put up these trends of food between East Bengal and West Bengal. We have taken up this idea to connect ourselves with the customers and obviously to emphasize the love of Bengalis towards football."
The food festival starts from Nov 13 and will continue till Nov 24.
The items are priced between Rs 95 to Rs 395.
