Pakistani Taliban chief killed

Peshawar, Nov 1 : The head of the Pakistani Taliban was killed in a US drone attack in Pakistan's North Waziristan region on Friday, media reports said.


According to reports, Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) chief Hakimullah Mehsud was leaving a mosque in Dande Darpakhel area when his vehicle was targeted.

"Hakimullah Mehsud, the chief of the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), was killed in a US drone strike in North Waziristan tribal agency on Friday," Dawn News reported quoting intelligence officials and Pakistani Taliban.

Pakistan government has not confirmed Mehsud's death so far.
