Odisha: School teacher set on fire

Bhubaneswar, Nov 1 : A 27-year-old school teacher died after she was set on fire by a man in Odisha's Rayagada district for allegedly filing a complaint against sexual harassment, said reports on Friday.

She had sustained 90 per cent burn injuries and was shifted to a hospital in Visakhapatnam.

Over three months back, the woman had filed a complaint alleging the school inspector had sexually harassed her.

The accused had reportedly threatened her to withdraw her complaint. On being refused, he set her on fire at a hostel.

The school inspector was arrested on Thursday.
