Kapoor features as the Anti-Terrorist Unit (ATU) Chief Jai Singh Rathod racing against time in the crime thriller aired on television channel Colors.
"This is the first time ever that a project of mine has been unanimously praised by my entire family," said Kapoor commenting on his family's response to the show.
He said that the upcoming episodes will keep the audience glued to their seats.
Kapoor also informed that actors like Shabana Azmi, Rahul Khanna and Richa Chadda are going to step in, in the weeks to come along with a handful of twists and turns in the story.
Meanwhile, Colors further launched an interactive 3D shooting video game based on the television series titled, '24-The Game' where the player gets an opportunity to step into the shoes of the ATU Chief Jai Singh Rathod as he battles his way to save the Prime Ministerial candidate from assassination.
The game is available for free download in India on iOS and android platforms, Colors noted.
Kapoor said, "Even the ones who were not usually into TV watching are tuning in to watch 24 now."
Speaking on his future plans for the city, Kapoor said that the Season 2 of the show could possibly feature Kolkata.
"I used to stay in Ballygunge here in this city and my life as an actor started 36 years back with 'Kahan Kahan Se Guzar Gaye', a film sponsored by the then Bengal government," he asserted.
"So I would always love to come back here again and again for whatever reason it may be.." the actor added.
