Oil price: Indian Basket rise marginally

New Delhi, Oct 31 : The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published on Thursday by Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas rose to USUSD 107.38/per barrel (bbl) on Oct 30.

This was marginally higher than the price of USUSD 107.26/bbl which prevailed on the previous trading day of Oct 29.

In rupee terms also, the crude oil price increased to Rs 6602.80 per bbl on Oct 30 as compared to Rs 6592.20 /bbl on Oct 29.

This was due to increase in price in dollar terms and slight rupee depreciation.

Rupee-dollar exchange rate on Oct 30 was Rs 61.49/USUSD against Rs 61.46/bbl on previous trading day of Oct 29.
