This was higher than the price of USUSD 106.45/bbl which prevailed on the previous trading day of Oct 28.
In rupee terms also, the crude oil price continued to rise reaching Rs 6592.20 per bbl on Oct 29 as compared to Rs 6546.68 /bbl on Oct 28.
This was due to increase in price in dollar terms rupee moderate appreciation softened the impact of rise in price in dollar terms.
Rupee-dollar exchange rate on Oct 29 was Rs 61.46/USUSD against Rs 61.50/bbl on previous trading day of Oct 28.
