'Cannonball Run' director Hal Needham dies at 82

Washington, Oct. 28 : Director Hal Needham has died in Los Angeles on Friday. He was 82.


Needham's business managers told the Los Angeles Times confirmed the news.

Needham was known for directing movies such as 'Smokey and the Bandit' and 'The Cannonball Run', Fox News reported.

The honorary Oscar-winner also performed, designed stunts and new equipment to execute them in thousands of TV episodes and hundreds of movies.
