South Eastern Railway's train services towards south India, which was normalised after the improvement in flood situation in Odisha from the evening of Oct 26, deteriorated on Sunday, affecting trains running towards Visakhapatnam and beyond, officials said.

Many trains have been cancelled/diverted or rescheduled after a major breach on track between Bayyavaram and Narsinghapalli in South Central Railway developed early this morning.

Water was flowing over the track due to which it will not be possible to run south bound trains by the normal route via Bhubaneswar- Visakhapatanam.
